106. Horrible and unfortunate news from TMR HQ......

Never in a million years did I ever think I'd ever have to make a post like this. I never ever thought of the possibility that I'd ever have to. I lost my Macbook the night before, after finishing and packing it with my laundry. I'd really hate to get into details about it since it's only been about 24 hours at this point and the wounds are still very fresh and painful. In the two years and two months that I've had the pleasure of being a Mac user, I've only had to deal with minimal problems, nothing major whatsoever and most importantly, we had good times. Maybe it was a sign to get a newer and better one. Recently there have been problems with hardrive space and I could have easily settled that by purchasing an external hardrive but I always managed to clear up enough room.

This also isn't going to stop TMR, I'll just have to work a little differently until I manage to either get my Mac back or replace it. The hardest adjustment I'll have to make in this temporary process is that I have to go back to windows which should be enough motivation to hurry the process up. A day later and I'm still shocked that one of the most precious things I owned (besides my apartment) just slipped away from me in a flash. To the person who happens to have it in their possession, I hope you have fun trying to figure out the password, and maybe the 4 guys plastered on the shell will give you a clue.

OMG Jean, do they have your personal info? I shudder to think of it. Oh honey, that is so bad. I have a Mac too, but it's chained to the desk. I'm sending you all kinds of healing thoughts and hugs. xo

Of course I have info on the HD but it's just a matter of breaking the password...not to mention when I put it to sleep (I never fully turned it off, just closed it) at the time, my battery was low (about 3% energy left) so unless they get a power adapter, it's pretty much up to them.

Just something as simple as typing now feels ancient to me as well as depending on the mouse/right click lol. Hopefully I'll be able to bounce back soon enough.
