400. 301 - 399 At A Glance....

I went from post number 1 to 300 in 9 short months then made a dramatic shift to slow down and over the course of the following 12 months, came the next batch of 100 posts, focusing more on quality photos and posts instead. I feel I did a decent job at accomplishing that, here being my favorite set of shots and moments from that period. I look at these photos and I find it difficult to believe that I actually took them (with the exception of #341, of course). Not too shabby for a camera that personally I'm not too fond of. Hope you guys enjoyed looking at them as much as I did shooting them. - J.E.J.

399. "How To Pull Off Cuffs" 101.....

I have tons of little style quirks. Many that interchange daily as my favorite like I change my socks, but this here detail melts my heart anytime I see it, which isn't often. I came across this woman (who had a military style jacket on, btw *my heart melting some more*) and obviously felt an obligation to document this detail. What I love most is the clean break the cuffed look provides, even came across an old photo of a mid seventies Bowie totally owning it (like anything else he's ever worn, that's why he is indeed a style icon).

397. A Night With The Wellington Papers (Lower East Side, NYC)

Cool Blokes.

Cool Stage Outfits. (Robert Palmer would be proud.)

Cool Music. (Which includes a cool cover of 'Rosalyn" by The Pretty Things.)

Download their new mixtape "The New York Times" here.

394. The Air Max One....(Prince St., NYC)

I love this look for many reasons (but I'll spare you by only giving four):

I) Leopard makes an appearance.

II) I would totally wear this look the same way (different printed scarf, of course).

III) How can you deny the Air Max 1? Oh that's right, you can't.

IV) The bottom half is great as it provides a cool and casual denim alternative with those always classic Nikes.

393. Brown Sugar..... (Broadway, NYC)

Every season, I always come across that one look that I'd love to see women or men take note on....this is my first one for fall (ironically, she's from California!). I also love very much how she's playing with many shades of brown here, nothing too matchy, matchy which I always appreciate. And since there's no burst of color here, the accessories (slightly askew derby included) and her ruffles play the forefront.

Editor's Note: One beautiful photo wasn't enough. Here's an alternate.
