445. "Went To Heaven With The Goody Goodies...."

It is already documented that I don't subscribe to the 'rule' that white trousers are only for the summer months but since I recently acquired another pair and it happens to be June, I figured, what the heck? And also document this in my favorite place in all of NYC, Fort Greene, Brooklyn (in Clinton Hill and Bed-Stuy as well).

As for the look, it reminds me a great deal of European tourists I've come across over the course of the last few years, who would likely wear this look in similar fashion, so this is a small nod to them.

The first key to happiness with white trousers is accepting the fact that they will get dirty. There is no way around it. You'll do loads of sitting, brushing against all types of objects and may accidently spill coffee, wine or tomato sauce on them. You may even have a pet or children who will want to help add a little something to it during the process.

Now, I don't condone walking around town with wine stained trousers (unless your trousers are wine colored) but I like to think general knowledge says white getting dirty is inevitable from the moment one decides to put them on and start the day.

In the near future, I do plan on indulging on a little project to purposely give them a little flavor....but we'll worry about that road once we get there.
